Set of two Delft Blue wall tiles
Charming pair of traditional Delft-style ceramic wall tiles, both hand-decorated in cobalt blue on a white glaze, depicting classic Dutch scenery. One tile features the Amsterdam Keizersgracht canal — a picturesque view of 17th-century gabled houses and moored boats — while the other presents a rural landscape with a windmill, bridge, and farmhouse, signed Delft Holland. Produced in the Netherlands, likely between the 1970s and 1990s, these tiles reflect the continuation of the centuries-old Delftware tradition originating from the city of Delft in the 17th century. They were made for decorative use and come with small hanging hooks on the reverse for easy wall display.
Condition: excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear consistent with age.
Dimensions: each tile 15 × 15 cm (5.9 × 5.9 in).
