The central features composition two stylized birds among large blooming peonies and chrysanthemums, surrounded by delicate foliage and bordered with an ornate blue-and-white frieze. This hand-painted decoration, marked “Dec 581” on the reverse, belongs to Mosa’s early Delft-inspired series, reflecting the refined craftsmanship and cobalt palette typical for the factory between 1900 and 1930. A rare and collectible piece of Dutch decorative ceramics, notable for its detailed brushwork, rich cobalt depth, and elegant floral symmetry - a fine example of Mosa’s interpretation of the Delftware tradition.
