These two miniature vases are produced by Eskaf (Eerste Steenwijker Kunst Aardewerk Fabriek), a Dutch ceramic factory established in 1919 in Steenwijk and later relocated to Huizen, Netherlands. Eskaf was known for its Art Deco-style pottery, characterized by bold, geometric and floral motifs, often applied over a dark, matte glaze. Eskaf’s ceramics are highly sought after due to their short production period (1919-1934). Their designs were heavily influenced by the Amsterdam School movement, which emphasized expressive, handcrafted details and bold colors. Despite the company's relatively brief existence, its works are now considered collector's valuable items.

Condition - good, except for a crack on the neck of the larger vase (see photo).

Larger vase: height 8.5 cm (3.3 inches), mouth diameter 4 cm (1.6 inches) Smaller vase: height 9 cm (3.5 inches), mouth diameter 3.5 cm (1.4 inches) *
