Hand painted Dutch Delft floral plates, Holland wall plates

A beautiful set of two vintage hand-painted decorative plates made in the Netherlands and marked “Holland Handgeschilderd” (“hand-painted in Holland”). These charming plates feature traditional Dutch folk-art floral motifs and colorful decorative borders inspired by classic Delft pottery.

Unlike the more famous blue-and-white Delft pottery, these plates belong to the polychrome Delft tradition, where multiple colors were used to create vibrant decorative ceramics.

The back stamp “Holland Handgeschilderd” indicates that the decoration was applied by hand by Dutch artisans. Marked pieces like this were commonly produced for decorative use and export during the mid-20th century, when hand-painted Dutch ceramics became popular with collectors and tourists.
